Permit, code and regulatory information on this site is general information, written to help you ask the right questions. It is not legal, engineering or professional advice. Rules change and differ from city to city. Confirm requirements with your building department and your own advisers before you act.

Nothing on this site is an offer or a price. A quote from us is based on the site, the information you give us and survey results, and it describes its own assumptions. Work starts only under a written contract signed by both parties, and that contract governs the job.

Permit review, utility disconnects, survey results, weather and inspector availability are outside any contractor's control. This site does not promise completion dates.
